SACRED SITES ITINERARY
IRELAND
Day 1 We leave Bray’s “Royal Hotel” just outside of Dublin the morning of June 1 for Killarney, a mystical and unspoilt region of Ireland. Along the way, we visit Timahoe Round Tower and the Rock Of Dunamaise. Arrive in Killarney in time for stop at Kenmare Stone Circle at Sunset. Shop, Dine and Lodge in Killarney. |

Day 2 From Killarney, we take a Boat Tour of Innisfallen Island to view the outstanding scenery. Then visit the Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland’s most popular and beautiful destinations. Shopping or rest and relax in Killarney. Time to visit a pub or two and enjoy Ireland’s famous music, ale and pub fare. |

Day 3 Tour Dingle Peninsula, which has been called Pure Ireland, a gorgeous area, and climb to Eask Tower for stunning views. Travel to the fascinating Poulnabron Dolmen in the Burren region, an ancient burial site. After Poulnabron, we drive to the wonderful seaside town of Galway, known for lively music and street life and much more. |

Day 4 From Galway we’ll see the wild western coast of Ireland and sweeping landscapes of Connemara National Park and Lake. Return to Galway in the afternoon to take in the shops, pubs, street music, and Galway Beauty. |

Day 5 Travel to Hill of Uisneach, known as the Mythological and Sacred Center of Ireland, visiting an ancient circular Ring Fort aka Fairy Fort on route, Stop at Bridget’s Well, one of the oldest and most elaborate holy wells in Ireland. Then on to Athlone, an ancient crossing point on the Shannon River, located in the heart of Ireland. Shop & Tour streets of Athlone. |

Day 6 Travel to Northern Ireland and the wild rugged coast of Belfast. Visit Sacred Sites along the way such as the famous stairway to heaven walk in Fermanagh. Shop or rest and relax in Belfast. |

Day 7 From Belfast a day trip to Ireland’s scenic north coast, the craggy Antrim Coast. We visit the renowned natural wonder known as Giant’s Causeway,, famous for its thousands of basalt columns. Geologists claim they were formed by volcanic eruptions over 60 million years ago. This landmark has inspired artists and storytellers for centuries and is also the Game of Thrones Region. |
SCOTLAND
Day 8: We take the morning ferry from Belfast to Scotland, arriving at Cairnryan Ferry Port. From there we travel to the Great Glen and visit ancient stones of Kilmartin Glen, an area rich in ancient history not to be missed. We’ll lunch along the way and visit Loch Ness home of the mythical Loch Ness monster. |

Day 9 The morning begins with an early ferry to the stunning and world-famous Isle of Skye, known for its known for its rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. Tour Isle of Skye’s Sacred Sites and special spots. Then ferry to the beautiful Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. |

Day 10 Tour & Explore Isle of Lewis and the legendary Callanish Stones, which many consider to be the most powerful of the stone circles. The Callanish Stones are formed in a cruciform pattern with a central stone circle. They have been used for ritual activity since the Bronze Age. |

Day 11 We ferry from Isle of Lewis to the Highlands in North Scotland and visit Highland Sacred Sites including Clootie Well which is said to have mythic healing power, and the magical Fairy Glen. Then on to Inverness, an ancient cathedral city in the Scottish Highlands, which will be familiar to Outlander fans. |

Day 12 Visit Findhorn Foundation and Community, a famous spiritual center and eco-community started over 60 years ago. It is self-described as an experiment where everyday life is guided by the inner voice of spirit, in co-creation with the intelligence of nature, inspired by a vision of a better world. We will enjoy the day at Findhorn and be inspired before returning to Inverness. |

Day 13 Travel from Scottish Highlands to Edinburgh, the compact, hilly capital city of Scotland. Along the way, we will take in Stirling Castle, built in the Middle Ages, and Fortingall Yew, a spiritual site located in a beautiful hamlet over 5000 years old. Then on to the famous Roslyn Chapel, which is often associated with Mary Magdalene and featured in the “The Da Vinci Code.” |

Day 14 Day Tour of Edinburgh, which many consider to be one of the best cities in Europe. We’ll visit this beautiful and exciting city including medieval old city, Georgian new town, and much more. Then time to dine & shop in Edinburgh or perhaps visit Harry Potter sites. |

Day 15 Tour ends the morning of June 15th in Edinburgh after Breakfast. |
